About Primo Haven

Primo Haven exists to bring clarity, transparency, and calm guidance to families navigating senior living and care decisions. These decisions are often made during moments of stress or urgency, when families are asked to evaluate unfamiliar options, complex terminology, and significant financial commitments with very little time or support.

Our mission is to make that process more humane, informed, and manageable. Primo Haven focuses on education first — helping families understand the landscape of senior living, care models, and placement considerations before they are asked to make any decisions.

We provide structured, easy-to-understand information about assisted living, memory care, and related senior housing options, including how these settings differ, what questions families should be asking, and how to think through tradeoffs that may not be obvious at first glance.

What Primo Haven Does

Primo Haven serves as an information and guidance platform designed to reduce confusion and pressure. We help families slow the process down just enough to understand their options clearly, so decisions can be made with confidence rather than urgency.

Our resources are designed to be practical and neutral — not promotional. Families are encouraged to compare options thoughtfully, ask informed questions, and move forward at a pace that feels right for them.

Our Role

Primo Haven is not a care facility and does not make decisions on behalf of families. We do not provide medical advice, and we do not direct families toward specific outcomes.

Our role is to provide information-first guidance that helps families understand their choices so they can make decisions confidently and on their own terms.

When appropriate, families may be connected with independent care providers or referral partners through Primo Haven Operations. All final decisions remain fully in the hands of the family.

Our Commitment to Community Support

Primo Haven was founded with the belief that businesses serving families should also give back to the broader community. As part of that commitment, Primo Haven’s operating model includes charitable support for organizations that assist people in need, particularly those facing housing insecurity or crisis.

A portion of Primo Haven’s long-term net profits is intended to be directed toward charitable organizations, such as Covenant House, which provides shelter, care, and support services to young people experiencing homelessness. Specific charitable partners may evolve over time, but the underlying commitment to community support remains constant.

Transparency & Independence

Primo Haven operates with a strong emphasis on transparency and independence. Educational content is designed to be neutral and informative, not promotional. Any relationships with service providers are disclosed, and families are never required to use a particular provider.

Primo Haven is a project of Primo Haven, LLC, which owns and maintains the educational content, technology, and intellectual property supporting this site. Referral and placement services, where offered, are conducted separately through Primo Haven Operations.
